Mindscape Studios had the great honor of producing an oral history project for Hudson’s Bay Company, asking each speaker the same question: What does the HBC Point Blanket mean to you?
 

For some, it’s a cherished symbol of Canadiana. For others, it represents colonization and HBC’s complex history with Indigenous peoples.  Our team worked closely with HBC to bring these perspectives to life.
 

In the spirit of truth and reconciliation, HBC shared the series on its heritage site and announced that future blanket sales would support Indigenous causes through the Downie Wenjack Fund.
